If you are planning an event the Grand Hall is an exceptional setting for any occasion. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Mount Holly, the historic mill gives the warmth of exposed brick and open beams together with the airy spaciousness of the vaulted wooden roof and large windows. The open staircase offers the perfect stage for Grand entrances or a birds-eye view of the room.
The Grand Hall is the setting of the most worthy event; ranging from the Annual Holy Angels "Grazie Mille" to Weddings and Receptions and milestone events such anniversaries and birthdays to our more local events such as the Merry Market Arts and Crafts Show and school dances and proms. The venue's unique character allows the versatility for the most elegant of an occasion or a more modern flare for the contemporary event.
Being one of the largest venues in Gaston County, the entire Grand Hall will accommodate a seated capacity of over 500. For smaller events of less than 100 the Grand Hall North End provides a cozier atmosphere. Rental of the entire Grand Hall will include the entire east end of the Municipal Complex, being approximately 33 feet wide and 210 feet long, and including adjoining bathrooms and kitchen preparation area. The rental for this complex shall be $1,000.00 per day for residents inside Mount Holly city limits and $1,500.00 per day for residents outside Mount Holly city limits. Rental of the Grand Hall North End will include an area approximately 33 feet wide by 50 feet in length, and including adjoining bathrooms and kitchen preparation area. The rental for this section shall be $500.00 per day, for inside and outside residents and all organizations.
Unlike most venues, the Grand Hall allows you to shop around for your caterer, photographer, florist and rental equipment. We want to afford you the opportunity to get the most for your money while providing your guests with a stylish ambiance.

The Grand Hall Fee Schedule document discusses the fees and policies associated with renting the Grand Hall. The Grand Hall Rental Agreement is the form that citizens/groups must complete before renting the Grand Hall.
After completing the forms, they must be turned in at the Municipal Complex.
