The Human Resources Department is dedicated to assisting the City in compliance with all State and Federal Employment law. Human Resources primary goal is to attract and procure highly adept and qualified personnel. This is done through competitive benefits, longevity incentives and retirement contributions, to name a few. Not only responsible for recruitment and on-boarding, Human Resources also tackles health insurance, worker's compensations, and personnel record upkeep for more than 130 full-time skilled workers. Human Resources takes an active role in providing a safe working environment to all employees. This encompasses not only safety training, but administering Health and Wellness Programs as well.
