A MESSAGE FIRE CHIEF RYAN S. BAKER

As Fire Chief of the Mount Holly Fire Department, I would like to welcome you to our website. Our intention is to provide you with information about the services that we provide to our community.

We are honored to provide emergency services to the City of Mount Holly and the surrounding areas. Currently, we have a sworn staff of 34 full-time firefighters operating out of three staffed fire stations. The Mount Holly Fire Department is a diverse group of dedicated professionals who are here to serve the community twenty-four hours a day.

Providing these services is an ever-growing challenge. A significant amount of our call volume centers around emergency medical services. Because EMS is such a significant percentage of our work, all of our firefighters are certified as Emergency Medical Technicians by the State of North Carolina. This allows us to provide rapid medical care by arriving quickly to begin treatment.

We believe we can always improve on our ability to serve the public by evaluating new equipment and initiatives in our field. Our firefighters are constantly striving to provide the highest level of service to our residents.

EXCELLENCE THROUGH EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Our employees are the ambassadors of the department and focus on providing service that is backed up but many hours of training. Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians continually participate in programs of higher education from across the country to better serve you. Whether it is fire, medical, or rescue related, we accept the challenge of providing the highest level of service to our community.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to visit our website.

Respectfully,
Chief Ryan S. Baker
Fire Chief
